First BB replacement on my Rallon and trying to remove the cranks. 16mm end caps removed, pre-load ring undone, 8mm bolt removed... can't get the drive side crankarm off! Next SL cranks so I'm reluctant to whack them with a hammer, obvs!
Am I missing something? Anyone got any tricks for getting the crank arm off? Do I just need to MTFU and put more grunt in to it?
They are self extracting, put them back together and just unbolt the 8mm until it spins. The crank just falls off at that point. There are instructions on the Race Face site...
Yeah leave the cap on . Took mine of a couple of days ago for the first time and it took a bit of welly to get it undone . Videos on you tube show you how

Now...somehow need to get the old bearing off the spindle as that's stuck on. It can wait til tomorrow now 🙂
