Trying to remove a sram 11 speed cassette from a sram roam hub. My cassette lock ring tool wont fit deep enough over the axle end cap but i cant remove it. Should it pull off or do i just need a deeper lock ring tool? I pulled the entire cassette off with the freehub attached and the axle end cap looks like it wont come off while the lock ring is on.

I had to get a deeper lockring tool to fit some shimano centrelock rotors as the end cap stopped my old one seating properly so I'd go down the route of getting a deeper tool.
