There was a free web app that allowed you to cut a long route into days and also offered accommodation close to the end point of each day.
Was it cycle.something? I can't remember but it worked really well for the marches and castles route I did last year. Google is not helping me. Or I'm not helping google to find the right app!

Now I just need to find some non camping accommodation for a crack at the Trans-Eryi next year.
