I have never done a 24 event and haven't ridden the witches trail so
is it fairly smooth and trail centre like or otherwise?
Also my bikes are Cove Hustler 30lbs, On One Ti456 26lbs and a geared Inbred with carbon fork 25lbs which do i take? think im a being a bit ott asking but cant decide!

depends which trail centres you're riding but, more or less, it's pretty easy. unless fraser changes it drastically from what he's proposed on the website, something that let's face it may happen, the course is reasonably easy with only one tiny steepish climb.

as to bikes - you're cycling for 24hrs - ask yourself, do i want a heavy bike or a light bike? i'd definitely take two tho.

It depends on which category you have entered.

If it's Vet 4s, you'll definitely need the 30lb Hustler.

Any other category and either of the others would do. The course is pretty smooth for the most part (to cut down on the marshalling requirements) so it's a question of just how much you think you need suspension on the front. They usually throw in one of two short, sharp climbs though so gears could be beneficial...
