I'm looking to reduce my 150mm sektors to 120mm to go on a new 4x/ play bike i am building and want to know if it is actually possible. When i brought the forks i received 4no. 10mm spacers with them. This would obviously only take it down to 130mm, is this the lowest they can go or can i buy 2 extras and reduce them further?

Also has anyone seen any good instructions on how to reduce the travel in forks?

Cheers

Matt

rockshox site has good tech manuals. 4 x 10 mm spacers would take it to 110 mm - they only go in one side usually

Oh ok, that'll be ideal if they do.

Cheers for that

There doesn't seem to be any info that i can see on the rockshox/ sram site regarding doing the reducing and neither is there on the tf tund site either.

Does anyone else know of any online guides or any fork pros out there?

nothing here?

Its usually a case of taking he lowers off, stripping the sprin side adn putting the spacers on the rod. I can do it ona set of recons in a few minutes

Ok hadn't dived deep enough. I have found it for all forks now except sektors. They do have pikes though so with all the info on all the different forks i should be able to get that sorted tomorrow night.

Thanks again

Do travel spacers come in the box with all Sektor purchases or does it depend on where you buy them from as to whether they're included or not?
