Having bought some 140mm 29er Pikes on a whim whilst Merlin had £60 off and as my Rebas are borked, I stupidly decided to read up on them once i had actually bought them, not realising that you can no longer use spacers to reduce travel to the 120mm i need (for Solaris).

Reading up you need a new Air Shaft part 11.4018.026.003, but nowhere seems to actually have the part in stock in UK or EC??

Anyone got any ideas on where it can be purchased or if it is the only way to reduce travel other than a large lass sat on the bars??

Loco tuning can reduce the travel by milling down the part you have for about £20 IIRC.

Air shafts due in next month have a lot on back order, we do machine them down too to custom lengths

Just out of interest, can a 150mm be made up to a 160mm?

If anyone knows where I can get a 26" 160 shaft please post it up or email me. I have a 150 to swap if needed

26" to 140 or less is a custom machined job as Rockshox aren't supplying the air shafts to do that.
Any other orders we're taking preorders on the air shafts

If anyone is interested i've got a 150mm 26 / 120mm 29 air shaft i'm selling. I saw a few people might be able to use it to convert 140 29 - 120?
