Anyone know if hardline Wales is on this year - read rumours it might not be? Trying to organise a holiday around it but there’s no confirmation yet if it’s on or dates.

I'm in the same boat - can't find details anywhere. Seems unlikely not to go ahead as very little notice sadly

It feels very much like Red bull is pulling out of MTB this year.

So could that mean Warner back on the WC ?

It should be happening in the summer with another event elsewhere (probably North America) in Autumn. I'd expect it to be late July or early August due to the gap in the world cup calendar.

I thought they’d said it was July this year.

It will be interesting to see what the do now Monster have become the wc title sponsor

Given the risks involved in hardline I’ve never understood why holding the wales event mid season is a good idea. I’m sure they would get a better field of it wasn’t in the middle of the day job season

I'd guess it's due to weather. It needs to not rain much or be overly windy for most of the week and the race day so the middle of the summer is the best bet for north Wales.

I bought my tickets for last year in January! I've had the Red Bull Hardline tickets page open in my browser for months and I keep checking every other day or so but it keeps showing as a '1 stop tour' only mentioning Tasmania.

Given that everyone is expecting a third Hardline this year,  there has to be an announcement soon you'd have thought.

It wouldn't suprise me if there was a joint announcement "And the third Hardline venue is.... Go and buy Wales tickets now" kind of thing, but what do I know 🤷‍♂️

Don't worry doom merchants. Confirmation of new Canadian event.

With the debut of Red Bull Hardline British Columbia later this year, the press release also detailed that Hardline Wales is set to return in 2027 with a new track "continuing the event’s evolution and building on more than a decade of progression."

October in Canada? Could be interesting weather wise...

The world cup seems to manage it. Gwin famously claims its faster in the wet. (well, at MSA, a quick 6 hour flight away).

Hopefully they have learnt from Oz about soils and rolling speed in differing weather conditions.

Looking at the images/vids doesnt look to be as much of a problem.

Shame to see the Wales event skip a year but excited to see what they do with a new track there & the new Canadian round.

Given the locals ride year round, I'm sure a little rain wouldn't be a problem for the pros 😉 😁

Will be interesting to see where the new track is. Gee & Dan on The Ride companion say it’s a completely new track.

If it’s roughly the same spot I can’t see how it’s going to be more nuts than it is currently. I did see a digger differing up there a few weeks back though
