I'm looking at buying a set of 100mm cross country forks. I have always ridden fox forks, but am jumping ship because of price/servicing intervals.
I last had a Reba in 2006 or so and thought they were good/comparable to my floats at the time.
What is the difference between these two forks? Is the Recon Gold comparable to a Reba of 2009 or so...is there any comparison between the cartridges?
I've always been very wary of the recon range. Always seemed to be specced on budget bikes, and very few pairs seemed to be sold as aftermarket forks.
What does everyone think?
