Been riding with rigid forks but thought a bit of bounce would be nice.
How do I setup these forks?
(the 'user manual' has no info and the technical manual I found online only describes servicing)
There are suggested pressures on a sticker on the fork leg and a red knob on the bottom on one leg. I assume it's just a case of setting the pressure for my weight and twiddling the knob if the fork appears to be rebound faster/slower than I'd like.
Do solo air forks have sag?
The forks are 100mm travel. They came with a spacer to reduce travel to 80mm - does this change the axel to crown height?
Yeah, basically the air pressure in the fork will affect the sag, the knob on the bottom of the (rider's) right fork adjusts the rebound damping (basically how fast or slow the fork springs back at you). Start with the recommended air pressure and twiddle the knob till the fork doesn't spring back too fast (or too slow!) Experimentation is the key.
