My RS Recon Coils now blow through its travel and bottom out over even the slightest bumps. I'm only getting around 40 of the 80mm travel. Anyone else had the same problem?

Leaky seal in the damper side allowing oil to flow into the lower.
Net effect of too much oil in the bottom and not enough in the damper is (unsurprisingly) undamped travel followed by reduced travel as the extra oil in the lower reduces the available movement.
Not an uncommon fault with recons.

Thanks, that seems to make sense of what's happened. I'll get a seal kit and some oil and grease on order:)
