Finally switched back to suspension, my first pair was 1997, then rigid in about 2005. How's its changed!
Anyhow the rochshox recons have no instruction, I cannot find any straightforward advice, instructions etc.

I want to put a bit more air in them or at least understand how to......

Help.

There must be a set of instructions somewhere.

It's pretty simple - unscrew the black cap off the crown (left side looking forward), attach a shock pump. Pump to desired pressure.

There should be a pressure chart sticker on the left side leg.

Is it actually an air version, or one with a coil spring?

I don't think the 2013 is radically different to the 2011 (unlike the new reba.revs etc). Heres a link to the 2011 manual:

do you have a shock pump?

You will need one as the volume is tiny (so need a special valve to stop you losing it) and the pressure is high.

Well, taken the top caps off, just hex bolts holding, with no sign of a valve?

This is what I got
