[#4241997]

this week I seem to have been transported into some kind of surreal paralell mtb version of where I live..

Ive been seeing team and trade cars for a few weeks but this week my commute to and from work Ive overtaken the czech world champ, narowly avoided emily batty on a cycle path, seen the german, swiss, czech, italian, french and norwegian teams out, and now my other half has just called me, theres a small beach literally 30 seconds from my house, the german and us teams are over there taking a break from a ride waving at my kids..?!

Im going ot be on a huge comedown come monday...!

unfortunately as she was coming towards me it actually looked like a kid on their bike, but going hell for leather. IT wasnt till she passed I noticed the team kit.... I did contemplate turing round and following her but I figured that was a bit to stalkerish!

Last night on our local pootle we were referred to as Olympians on more than one occasion, by people with whom came into contact with . . .

We are far from Olympians, . . all though, our post ride drink and snack consumption would take some beating . . . ! ๐Ÿ˜€

Didn't know whether to block her passage or toss yourself off? (Apologies to Max Miller.)

The Hungarian sailing team are based at the same sailing club where my Uncle has his boat, they offered me 3 tickets for the Nothe Fort site for the Mens Laser medal race. Czech womens Laser team needed a hand getting their support boat onto the trailer, nice bunch of people. Surprising how small-scale some of the teams were, the Czech Laser Radial sailor had a knackered Renault Van. Policemen on Jet Skis were friendly though, incredible organisational set up down in Weymouth.

From Emily's website . . .

Follow me in the chase for my dreams. Every goal I can imagine I want to achieve, I canโ€™t do it on my own.

is that a blatant come on or what!!! ๐Ÿ˜€
