Can anyone recommend some routes starting near South Leeds (near Cross Flatts Park). Looking for something that gets me out of town with minimal fuss, and of around 30 miles. Any suggestions? Thanks.
drop down to armouries, cross river on footbridge, the follow a63 east (there is a bike path) all the way to motorway junction 45, cross m/way onto Pontefract lane, the up into swillington, right at church, the follow through allerton bywater, to fairburn, across a1 to burton salmon, through to hillam, right onto hillam common lane for 2k, then right towards birkin, the 1st left in birkin to café at fishing pond on the right.
30k each way.

Thanks Ton, I'm only going to be up in Leeds for a couple of days and just want a couple of quick training rides to keep things ticking over.
This ones pretty easy to pick up from Cross Flatts, just up the road through Middleton.

I do mate and I know the houses you mean.
Spent many a saturday night as a youth in that club.
