Had a bad day at the workstand yesterday. Help make it better.

Tools to go in riding toolkit, so no big and heavy stuff wanted, but not bendy and snappy either.

Cheers.

I have the granite ones above and they are good, they have storage for a spare quick link too which is handy.

I've got the Granite Design ones too. Work well as tyre levers as well as chain snap link openers.

Alternatively, your preferred tyre levers and then a multi-tool that offers a chain link function.

FWIW I use a Topeak Mini PT30, as here:

No complaints whatsoever, very impressed indeed. I carry a single Crank bros lever too, a great piece of kit. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crankbrothers-Unisexs-Speedier-Levers-Black/dp/B008UY1MXW/ref=asc_df_B008UY1MXW/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310085547242&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15083949941527723711&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045391&hvtargid=pla-493780784582&psc=1&th=1&psc=1

I'd be open-minded to having separate, specialist tools. I do. Combo tools work, but not as well. They can make a tricky repair situation unnecessarily trickier. Weight/size difference is negligible but usefulness is measurably different.

I now carry KMC link pliers (x2 - 1 open, 1 close) - they're light & fold small-ish, with a band. Functionally, very good.

Tyre Levers - Park. Nothing comparable for the money.

All the best with your research... 👍🏻
