Friend has asked me to organise... would have more ideas if it were mtb rather than road. Anyone had a good experience with someone offering long weekends: 3-4 days riding. Doesn't necessarily need to be guided, but cycling friendly, route tips, bike stoarage etc.
Priorities are:
Close to an airport, preferably with transfers to save on hire car
Enough riding options to fill 3 days
Nice scenery
Good food
Thanks

You will probably need to stay away from the big mountains as they will still have snow on.
I'd highly recommend Marmot Tours if you want someone to look after you

I read somewhere that Lanzagrotty is very windy.
I haven't ridden road in Andalucia but it looked brilliant for it.
Stunnign mountains, reliable weather, not too blowy in the Med side and nice and cheap.
Majorca is an easy suggestion. 2hr flight. Coaches at airport take you and bike box anywhere on island for about 20euro each.
Stay in Puerto Pollenca ... and just follow the herd of cyclist heading up into the hills.
I'm going to Mallorca at the end of May for some road cycling 🙂
How many people?
I'll be out in Southern Spain at my house in the Sierra Espuna, Murcia region,at that time and am quite happy to put a couple of people up for a few days.No airport pick up but i can point you towards car hire that should be pretty cheap.Just over an hour to Murcia ( San Javier ) airport.
Provence.

Ideally want as hassle free as possible, hence looking for suggestions of firms who lay it all on... years ago I went to sunny spain with a company called seasonallyunadjusted.com and had a great time... something like that set up, but with road bikes in mind would be perfect
Lanzarote with Club La Santa. Permanent wind is good training and character building but also has immaculate roads with some great views and climbs and very respectful drivers.
Nerja or Torre Del Mar East of Malaga, cheap resorts with loads of riding in the mountains behind them. A stage of the Vuelta passes round there too,
Sheck - Majorca is pretty hassle free.
Book flights, transfers and hotel (such as Duva in Port of Polenca) ... With Holiday republic. 10 minutes job.
Follow the herd of cyclists into mountain. Or buy map and ride what you want.
Google bike hire in Port Polenca ... It really is easy to sort.
Enjoy.
I'm off to Andalucia in a couple of weeks staying with Cycle Sierra Nevada.. Went last year for a week and my wife was there for a long weekend this year. Cormac's a great guy and the riding is superb.
It's quieter than Majorca but doesn't have many flat roads.
