Planning to ride from Swansea to Cheltenham in two days next week on Sustrans 47... it looks like there is a fair amount of fire road and some bridleways, so I can't run full slicks.

Can someone recommend me some fast rolling semi-slicks?

The only ones I can see on nextdaytyres are Schwalbe Sammy Slicks, are they any good?

Dave

ok, vulpines look pretty good - much lighter than the contis, but still cheaper than schwalbe.

i like the vulpine on the back of my 29er in summer. double fighters are slicker than some....

i would be tempted to run slicks 26 X 2.0. running them at 30 psi they will be fine on bridleways and pump back up for tarmac sections.

docstar, too late - I would have had those off you, but I've already ordered some sammy slicks.

Thought about getting vulpines, but I had some bad experiences with WTB tyres in the distant past, so I was slightly biased against them..

DMR Moto - more an allround fast rolling tyre, has massive volume so gives the bike a great feel. cheap wire bead job so a good option for a hack /commuter bike.
