My Manitou Skarebs bit the dust at Grizedale 🙁
Can Anyone suggest a good replacement with around 100 - 120mm of travel?
(As ever, the cheaper the better!)

On-One are selling 100mm Reba Teams for £250.

If you want QR, and I'm presuming you do, I think you should bite their arm off.

The Blackbox damping featured on the Team model is superb, it'll be a fantastic upgrade to your Skareb.

Or if you have a bit more cash, consider the 120mm maxle version (and a new front wheel if required), not much heavier and loads more stiffness and control.

The Magura Durin is a very good performer, i've had mine for 2 years and have been very impressed.

In my experience I'd say Rebas for their simplicity, and relative low weight. I'm after a new set to replace mine that had to short a steerer for a new frame..continued page 300..Bargains to be had everywhere as well.

I've raced on the Durins before, the felt very different from other forks in that they seemed pretty rigid, but plush when put in the right situation, the remote lock out lever is also pretty trick. Don't think I'd buy a pair based just on that though. They seem to like cracking on the brake mount too..
