My GF has one of [url= 
]these[/url] a Trek 6500WSD (2006). The shitty Manitou Axel Elite forks are leaking oil and they also weigh a tonne.
What would be a good replacement and also work with the grey/pink/black scheme of the bike?

Fox float or a pre 2005 marz if you can find one.

depends what your after.
i went with low maintenence.
MXcomps, reeeally basic air sprung zocchi forks.
never ever ever ever touched mine, 6 years old now i think?
the air spring was a bit harsh for her, so lowered the oil level as far as i could without the compression valve being out of the oil, and they are buttery buttery now (but wouldnt be any use to a biffer or a heavy rider until the oil level was raised)
