Do to the inability to leave things as they are ๐ ๐ I am in the process of tying drops on a MTB frame with skinny tyres in a pseudo cross bike kind of way ๐
I have sourced a cheap trials stem that is plenty long (read: perhaps too long) and has plenty of rise (read: perhaps too much rise) with a std 25.4mm clamp.
Thinking non conventional drops as am going to try and bodge hydro disc levers on the bars.
Any pointers/good/bad experiences?
Pics would be helpful.
Cheers,
M
I use Salsa Bell Laps on my Fargo and think they are great. Much cheaper in the 25.4 version as well. Lots of people also use their Woodchipper bars too. On One usually have a few offerings as well.
I like the woodchippers, but I don't ergo bars. The flare is perfect.
See oldgit for bodging hydros on.
woodchippers here. same shape are midges but longer extensions on the drops
