I'm planning a weeks biking road trip and need recommendations of some places to stay. Can you rsuggest some good but cheapish accommodation?
I was thinking bunkhouses / B&B's, cabins etc but must be bike friendly. Will probably spend a night or 2 in each to sample the local riding.
Areas I'm looking to head include:
Lake District
Mabie / Dalbeattie
Kielder
Hamsterley
Any suggestions for good places to stay most gratefully received.

For seven Staines have a look at Gorsebank Cabins, they have timber tents, and two really nice Bothies.
