was using a sandwich bag but wanted something a bit more tough rather than a sock outer ๐
Experiences of waterproof bags for mobiles (smart phone - HTC ) for the ride please ๐
Was thinking of: Aquapack & Beachbouy
Cheers

I've got a beachbouy.
Pluses - waterproof(!) and the screen works when in the case
Minuses - - it's a fair bit bigger than the phone - it won't fit in the sunglasses bit at the top of a camelbak so has to go in the main compartment.
Otherwise quite impressed with it - I'd always just wrapped my phone in clingfilm for wet rides but when I switched to an iphone 4 I had problems getting the screen to work through it.
Cheers WW - yeh they do look a bit bulky but I guess its one size fits a lot of phones ๐ Main comp would be fine me thinks ๐ I have the old style camelback and so don't have a phone pocket ๐
I use the Aquapac one..
Perfect for the iPhone..
Spot on and you can use the phone through it..
Ortlieb make fantastic waterproof cases. It's not phone specific but I use one of their A5 map cases.

For my HTC Desire, I bought an Otterbox hardcase. Big, bulky and weighs a bit. However, waterproof and bombproof. Fits nicely in the wing pocket on my wingnut. GPS still works through the case so I can still track rides.
cheers onzadog, seen those but I think a bit bulky even for me ๐
I've had one of these Aquapac's for a few years and got the smaller one for my keys. Totally waterproof and you can use the phone without taking it out of the case. Fell out of my pocket on a ride last winter - found it again a week later after days of rain and the phone was fine
I think the Aquapack is a little more slimline over the BeachBouy for biking - Cheers for the recommendations ๐
+1 aquapack
