Hi all,

I'm looking for a roof-mounted carrier, of the type that the forks clamp into, rather than it clamping onto the downtube.

Any recommendations?
TIA

I have a Thule 561 which I have been very happy with, untill I got a bike with a qr15 fork, the adaptor (a simple tube) from thule costs £30 😯

Thanks, gab. I thought Thule may be the rack of choice (I have 591s at the moment) Just wondered what other choices there might be!

Not feeling much love from THULE on this issue. I contacted their customer sercvices on the pricing of a piece of alu tube, but got the standard BS e-mail back. Fine i'll take me custom elsewhere in the future.

Presumably all your forks are out of warranty?
