Sykeside just south of Patterdale, you can ride the High Street and Helvellyn ranges from here.

Good site, plus shop and bar/restaurant.

I was gonna say Side Farm in Patterdale - bit basic but I really enjoyed staying there.

There is also a campsite in Grizedale, though I've not stayed there - loads of great riding around there.

Great Langdale, best part of the Lakes with ease.

Great Langdale National Trust site is our favourite. Great pub nearby and amazing riding on your tent step!

Coniston campsite can get a bit chavy

Coniston Old Hall. We stay there every june. Superb biking and lovely location. Tkaes same sex groups too.

Fisherground in Eskdale is a lovely site. Access to Eskdale and Duddon Valley riding.

Wont go wrong with either of them two.

Just a word of warning though, i find most lakes campsites are to be avoided like the plague on Bank Holidays

You can't book the NT Langdale one either if thats a concern
