KMC X10

Shimano chains wear out far too quickly IMO, KMC seem to last at least twice as long. Done 1600 miles on my current road bike on a KMC X10/93 and it's just coming up to 0.75% wear. Both Shimano 105 chains I used on my previous road bike were worn to 0.75% in roughly 800 miles each! SRAM are ok, but still shortlived compared to KMC. Had baaaaaad experiences with Connex so could not recommend them to anyone.

Currently have KMC and Conex.

Both good quality. The gold finish is better on the Conex and the removable link on the Conex is easier to use than the KMC.

KMC X10 on 3 bikes, 2 are 1x10 and 1 is 2x10. No problems so far. Mind you, never had any problems with SRAM or Shimano either.
