I've had my Brooks for a couple of months plus now, must be getting on to a 1000 miles on it, but I still find it uncomfortable, can't get the angle right, I'm either slipping on the the cricket ball hard nose or if I angle it back the nose puts too much pressure on my, well, er, you know, those bits ... and it left a load of black marks over some shorts the other day!
So, what else is out there that is a good all day saddle, something that will break-in easy - I'm off on a 3+ week trip in about 4 weeks so need something quick?
I get on rather well with a WTB Rocket V, use on one the MTB and also on the Jake that I have used for a weeks tour.
You could try a Selle San Marco Rolls, seen those on a few tourers, they look more normal than a brooks. I had a San Marco regal on a bike once and that was comfy
