Hi

Csn you recommend a travel box please

i am travelling with easyJet and have a 32kg limit so would prefer a hard case to protect my carbon 27.5 Occam MTB

ideally less than £300..... suggestions welcome

Thanks

Also got a CrateWorks, it's excellent.

Much more protection than a bag, much lighter than a conventional case and folds up flat. Got it off fleabay for £50 a few years ago. Looking scruffy now but still working fine.

Evoc, not a hard case but used it for carbon mtb and road bikes all over the world the design protects it well and it's about 9kg. It is one of the easiest thing to move around and live with in the road too

Thanks. Coming round to the idea of the Evoc as I thought you’d need a hard case for maximum protection

Any other suggestions ?

Cheers

The evoc protects in a few ways, rigid base protects the drop outs, the wheels form an a frame. And it's all strapped in so it can't move.

Could just rent a box, will work out loads cheaper.

Bikeboxalan can be hired for as little as £30 a week. And my 29er XL marin fit in one fine.

Another vote for the evoc’s. Decent protection for the bike as paddedand has re-inform entry in the right places. Really easy to wheel around, but it’s major advantage is how quick and easy it is to pack / in pack your bike when you know how to do it. Can get it unpacked and back together in 10 minutes
