Going to the Morzine for a week biking. What travel insurance do I need in case I have a big crash and need to pay for the consequences?

Anything. No insurance company thinks mountain biking is a specifically dangerous sport that needs extra (more expensive) coverage. As long as you're not racing, it's cool.

Using the BMC this year.
Some policys do exclude mountain bike, especially if you are riding DH or other steep/technically difficult tracks
