outland "enduro" from e bay - I think made by Raleigh. Not very "cool" in certain circles but work very well & seem a little thicker.

On-One Bob on grips are very nice and are cheapish

Of course now that "The Messiah" has left anything from On-One is automatically cr@p so you wouldn't want to use them in case the Singletrack style police catch you 🙄

Another vote for the Oury's from descent-gear. Top service from these guys, and he grips?? Mmmm comfy. I only need to try and find a way of putting them on my road bike!

Lizard Skins Peaty. Not too fat and still grippy under horrid clay mud.

(and more importantly, available in white)

"ODI Rogue are good in a not too fat, not too thin kind of way. "

I reckon they are quite fat, but very good for big hands, and lots of paddedness to keep down trailbuzz. Mine have been going for 18 months so far. I reckon they'll go for another 6 months yet before they fall apart (they've started to peel a little). The raceface ones I had lasted for about 3months

I can't fault my Bontrager Earls. Very nice soft rubber.

Yeah I got some of those. Very nice for the cash....
And I've got some Token (Sp?) ones that were about £7

My brother swears by Halfords Bikehut ones, again for about £8-£10 IIRC

There's no need to spend £20 any more, unless you are a bit simple, that is....

😉

odi ruffian, or any of its cloans, they do work in the wet but

odi yeti - nice pattern for reducing trail buzz

DMR zip-grips, not completely slip proof, still need some spray mount to stop them moving completely, feels very thin, massive ammounts of grip and very long.

Got a set of these off ebay last week, only a tenner and loads of colour options. To be honest all these generic odi copies are exactly the same, the only thing to tell them apart is price colour and availability,

Just got some from MTB Direct and they seem great. Also they look almost identicle to the Orange & On-One grips listed above, but with lots of colour choices and price include delivery.
Can't recomend highly enough the service from MTB Direct, called them Friday lunch, they arrived Saturday morning and I wasusing them Saturday afternoon.
