spray a little WD40 over it and give it a wiggle. It is only held in place by a ciirclip in a small grove.
Lots just fall out on jumps so it will come off.

It's not meant to unscrew...
Just pull it.

It just pulls out. Pliers help if its stuck.

I have tried putting my feet over the end of the fork and pulling with pliers without success !
I have also tried separating the red knob away with a chisel, again without success !

you're not supposed to see threads there as those allen head bolts hold your forks together. screw it back in and skoosh with plenty of WD40/GT85 then pull only
