When looking for a new frame and planning on wheels to match obviously.
Is there any reason to prefer 142 over 135? Does maxel offer much over QR?

Wheels just get adaptable hubs.

Hard tail, XC use but perhaps more interested in long term future availability.
Looking at a Solaris, but wonder whether the 135 QR rear fitting is a bit dated compared to a Specialized of similar spec
