Just gone 1x9 - 32 front 12-32 rear and still have std long cage (SGS?) rear mech. I want to shorten the chain a bit more though, can I go medium or even short cage to tidy things up? Thanks

My 105 works fine with the 32 sprocket at the back and a 34 at the front on a hard tail with the tension screw wound in. Might have just got lucky though
