[Closed] Rear hub/Freehub sticking?

Afternoon. Last night noticed that if I stopped pedalling the chain would sag as the derailleur swung up then back down. Had the rear wheel off and holding the cassette and spinning yields few revolutions so I take it that the freehub is causing this?

I’m riding again in a bit; any thoughts on quick fix?

Could also be the jockey wheels tightening/seizing

thats a pull off freehub is it not? Bearings in the freehub going ( not the same as the axle bearings) Pawls gummed up and sticking? The only way to know is to pull it apart, clean it all up- and check all the bearings and pawls

I think so. I’ve been able to pull the cassette off previously to get at it. For some reason I can’t turn the end caps in opposite directions but can’t get it either off?

Actually, got it off. I’ve got a metal spacer that was gunky so I’ve cleaned that but I’ve now found a rubber o ring on the floor which isn’t now whole?
