Thanks.
Have swapped out the 160mm Praxis carbon cranks for some 150mm Praxis alloys to try and limit the strikes when pedalling up rocks. So far they seem to do the job.
Still got to swap out the rear tyre. Going with the same but radial version. Not sure if I will be able to tell the difference
Absolutely the king/queen of ebikes for a number of years. Left behind a bit with tech now and even the Gen 4 isn't even a match for the latest Bosch (nevermind Avinox)
That said, they ride absolutely amazingly and if you aren't out with more modern tech you aren't left wanting. Motor was horrifically noisy yesterday on hot climbs though, so it's off to the ebike motor centre for some TLC
The tech, battery and motor give me all I need. Never felt wanting more.
Yep same, then my mate bought a gen5 Bosch powered Cube One77 and he's become really annoying and won't pace with the rest of the riders. To be honest, I just let him get on with it now after a brief period of being annoyed with him. I'll be keeping my Levo for at least another year and then decide where to go - just bought an extender though as I'm rinsing the battery trying to keep up.
I've mentioned it before elsewhere, but we've spent a good few years riding at analogue pace on mixed rides, sitting behind him as he didn't want to get an ebike. Now he's got one, all of a sudden he wants to dictate the pace of a ride based on his available power/torque. Bellend 🤣 I do tell him as much
After losing the cycling mojo a few years ago I picked up a 2024 Turbo Levo SL Comp for an absolute bargain last February and its got me back into riding again. The battery and tech is now a few generations old; last ride with a friend with a new Trek (equivalent bike we think) he used as much battery as I had remaining... but then I'm a much larger guy.

Same here. My lad and I demoed YT Decoys a few times from the (now no more) YT showroom over in Guildford. I was happy to pay the demo fee just to not have to clean them. Lad got a bit hooked, saved his pennies up and bought a Gen3 Turbo Levo off PB at an absolute steal price (Zeb Ultimates must have been almost 50% of the price). I had no plans to buy an e-bike but I valued riding with him more than my personal prejudices so bought a carbon Gen3 a few months back. I find the motor more than I need - love eco mode and switch to trail only on the steep stuff. We can now ride over to Peaslake without taking the car and in the process discovered a whole host of new trails in the area - a big win!
Finally got round to fitting the new reat tyre and a quick once over ready for our next big trip
Can the radial be run at a lower psi than the norm and if so by how much as Finale is probably not the best place to go too low
“Can the radial be run at a lower psi than the norm and if so by how much as Finale is probably not the best place to go too low”
Same or higher pressure with radials because they’re better at flexing.
Been running my Grid Gravity T9 at 20 psi front and rear
Thought I had read somewhere that one of the advantages of the radial was that it could be run at lower psi than non radial equivalent
May be best to leave at 20 psi to start
