Seem to remember it moved out from Penge, and changed name, but then faded away...?

unfortunately when the fridge/recycle closed it's doors, it never reopened ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

shame, it was the best lbs i've ever used...

Yep, sad to see it go. Was a little Alladin's Cave back in the day. I'd imagine that TheifBay may well have taken over any potential market for quality second hand bits these days, though.

I too was sad to see the loss of the Fridge/Recycle. Vince was a top guy. Last I heard he was working for an importer - Moores perhaps?

I think the market was just too tough for them -wasn't there some fiasco with Dekerf, and like cfh says the secondhand and ex demo markets are pretty covered off with online sales these days.

After Re-cycle I think Vince opened a bike shop in Sydenham, South London, called Behind Bars. That closed about five years ago and then I heard that he was in some way linked to the import of the revitalised Spooky brand. Last spotted on the South coast I'm told.
