A job vacancy has come up at work for rapid prototyping. Pretty keen so far but was just wondering if there is anyone out there who is in this industry and could shed some light on the availability of jobs and approximate salary once you are trained up. Had a quick look on google but couldn't really find much on there.
Cheers
Have a look at some of the member businesses in trade associations like the GTMA (Gauge & Toolmakers Association) or the MIA (Motorsport Industry Association).
I have had some involvement with them - tend to find very bright engineering businesses developing sophisticated kit for MoD, Aerospace etc
Good luck!
loads of people doing this it has become v competitive, but thats potentially agood thing for you, as probs loads of jobs..
