I'm seriously considering getting one of these.

I'm 5'10" so is that a 16 or 18 inch frame?

18" (just to annoy brant ๐Ÿ˜€ )

I'm a whopping 1" taller than you and the 18 is spot on for me ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm about the same height as Dave and the 18" I borrowed for Hit The North fit like a glove from the off.

Sorry Brant.

I have no idea what that means ๐Ÿ˜‰

You can get a 2.4" racing ralph in there with room to spare thanks to the sliding drop outs.
Obviously you wouldn't want to run a 2.4" racing ralph if it's dead muddy, so thats a bit of a moot point, but if you run something like a 2.0" Bonty Mud X in the frame it's got miiiiiles of clearance. Miiiiles of it!

so for local riding outside of racing i could get some fat tires in for snow which whence we get in aberdeen is quite bad ! - ok 2.4 is no 3.7 but still its better than 1.8s that go up to your axels in snow in seconds !

2.4's were great in the snow over Kielder/Newcastleton earlier this year ๐Ÿ™‚
