I keep having to tighten mine back up every ride as the threads on the original shite plastic one are made of cheese and the 2mm allen bolt head has pretty much rounded out. I can replace like for like for a few quid or get Cane Creek's nice but pricey for what it is EEwings version at £30ish...is there a viable option somewhere in between?

Not had an issue with mine to be honest, had two sets and both were fine, little dab of the lightest loctite i could get and all was good.
Having said that, if i were replacing the part id go for the cane creek one as it'll just be job jobbed.
