[Closed] Raceface narrow-wide chain rings (should I be worried)?

Just a quick (probable numpty) question here (take the piss if you wish).

I found I didn't need short, dedicated single chain ring bolts as the chainring has different fittings on either side(?)

Mounted one way around my old bolts from a triple ring setup bottomed out before securing the ring. But the other way around (with the countersink 'hidden'), these bolts seem to work fine.

Have I made an error here, or am I correct?

They might work loose that way around. Keep a close eye on them.

I had some washers that let me space out the longer bolts. But I think you can order shorter ones on crc

Having a similiar quandry with mine. Bought a set of race face bolts after asking crc if they would work (which they said would) and theyre too long. Going to try my old bolts and see if they work but would have prefered steel ๐Ÿ™
