Yes, but Shimano cranks will end up being a similar cost if you don't have the rings, and are better cranks anyway.
RF are specced on bikes as they're cheaper than Shimano, not because they're better.
With the cinch adaptor, you have multiple interfaces that could work loose/creak, and you lose the sole selling point of Cinch - the cleaner look of a DM single ring.
I'd sell the Next SLs before they fail and put on some HTII cranks.
