We did the all weather Jacob's Ladder loop on Saturday, and I took the SJ and a wee tripod to have a play at some off bike footage. The battery ran out halfway round (top of Coldwell Clough for those that know) but I've bashed together the bits we did get if anyone would like a look. Not 100% happy with the editing or the filter I've put on it, but it'll do for now.
Looks good. The sj4000 is an amazing bit of kit for the price.
Aye I'm well impressed with it. We're planning on doing Snowdon in a month, this was a test to decide whether I could be bothered taking an SLR for better quality footage... For the extra faff I don't think I'll bother.
I think filter is not bad matches the weather at the moment and the nature of that area. Looks like the SJ is good at the tripod stuff, did you take any POV footage on that ride? On that route I couldn't imagine the stabilisation would stand a chance.
Nah I didn't even take the chest mount for this one. I'm not sure how good the stabilisation is tbh, I need to do some back to back tests but I think the POV angles will be saved for either fast/smooth trails or very slow speed techy sections.
