Does the shockwiz need to know what it's attached to? As in do you need to program in say what fork you have and change it when you move to the shock?

You don't need to tell it what it's connected to, but there is a calibration prices to run through when you first put it on a new suspension unit.
You can save the calibration profiles for any time when you switch it back to the same fork/shock.
