i need to remove the left pedal non drive side (left whilst sitting on bmx) which way does it rotate to loosen?
presumably a bmx is the same as an mtb

I remember it like this:
"Back off"
So in other words turn your pedal spanner or allen key towards the back of the bike from the 12 o'clock position to loosen and the opposite to tighten the pedals.
