it doesn't bother me.
the accompanying pictures of mtb'ers "my first road bike" with their really high bars, drops at odd angles and spd's make me chuckle.
Dressing up in full Lycra, stuffing your jersey pockets with magic energy potions and hitting silly speeds on skinny tyres is way cooler than riding a mountain bike, honest 😉
bikes are bikes - Fact - love doing both 20 odd miles last monday round my local woods on MTB - 75 miles up Wharfedale on the road bike today - both with big smile - may well takea run out on th SS tommorow
