[Closed] Quick access to camera on bike pack?

I'd like something to enable quick access to the camera whilst on the bike - just a point and shoot, soon to be replaced with a rugged model of some sort.

So far I've found an olympus case that might be an idea.

But generally something that makes it easy to get to, probably mounted to a shoulder strap whilst at the same time doesn't rattle around Any other bright ideas? Moon on a stick?

I have a Lowe Alpine case on hip let, I can reach, unhook, get camera out, take pic and put back one handed.

I've tried various things and I just prefer to stick it in my pocket. Easy access, no kerfuffle.

I guess something minimal like this dashpoint lowepro one then?

Mine is from the AW range, so has a fold-away waterproof cover

I've got the lowepro AW above. does the job. Can unzip with one hand and pull the camera out. Protection seems decent too. Lots of fitting options

If you don't want it on your hips, you could look at a "gas tank" type thing that sits on the top tube behind the stem? some might be padded/ robust enough.

We use a Samsonite Trekking case and pass the cross strap on the front of the back pack through the belt holder, secure and water resistant

I use a dashpoint 20 on the shoulder strap with a carabiner to stop it slipping.

Mine is one of these - because a gert big hook opening is easier than a zip I find.

I've got one of the Lowepro Alpine ones above. It straps onto my rucksack straps & I bought a cheap spring clip to make doubly sure it stays in place

Works well, well padded & comes with rain cover as mentioned above.

I use a Peak Design Capture Clip. https://peakdesign.com/store/capturepov
It attaches to the rucksack strap, then the camera just clips in. It works nicely, holds the camera securely, and easy to unclip one-handed to take a photo.
I usually use it with a bigger Micro 4/3s camera, its maybe a bit excessive for a point and shoot. But I have used it with a waterproof compact, that works fine too.

I use a nylon Camera pouch which straps around the shoulder strap of the camelbak, and a small caribiner round a loop to stop it dropping down. Genuinely don't notice it there when riding and gives very quick access.
