Got the wife a small Restrap frame bag after the PSA on here recently. Nice looking bit of kit, but I failed to remind myself of the exact shape of her HT frame so it looks like it will end up on my Decade Tripster instead.
While looking at it in the flesh, there appears to be an open pocket on the top edge that would rest on the underside of the top tube and not be accessible unless you remove the bag.
Any idea what that is for?
It's a cable entry/exit flap. Normally used for charging things in the bag from your dyno, but I use it for the cables from my light battery.
Cheers. Obvious now you've said that. I hadn't noticed it went through into the bag, I thought it was just an external pocket with no closure.
Yep cable or small camelback bladder hole.
