So- I'm arriving Sunday 'avec la famille' who are not very fit 🙁 so I need rest/ refreshment stops for them. Coombe House Hotel is VERY nice but charges stupid money. The pub in Holford seems ultra grumpy. Surely there is somewhere decent? Perhaps an ice cream van or better still a burger van?
Any suggestions?

i'v seen an ice cream van up there a few times last summer. one at crowcombe car park, one in greatwood and one at crowcombe car park.

The Plough in Holford has got better recently: new management I think. Knottie will explain.
