Does anyone know what conditions the trails are in in the Quantocks? Are the combes rideable?
There's the odd stream running down the middle of a decent or two, but we had a great time up there today. Go for it.

They're always rideable, you'll just get a bit wet on some of them thats all 😉
Been up there today too, its a bit muddy in places but nothing that would stop you riding there.
+1 I was there on Boxing Day. Wet but fine. I should have put a mud guard on to save my ass getting soaking wet mind within 1 mile of setting off!
Its a bit wet and windy at the moment.
It was wet but all rideable yesterday. Would have helped had I not forgotten my jacket. Got soaked riding in my hoodie
I've just got back from walking the dog on Lydeard Hill and it's flippin evil up there, driving rain stinging your face and wind so strong it's difficult to stand up straight.
Due to clear up soon though.
Just spent two fabulous days up there on my fatty 🙂

Thanks all! I had been thinking of going today but the heavy rain and strong winds this morning put me off…its a 2 hour drive for me to get there so I didn't want to chance it. I'll go later this week hopefully.
Are all the roads clear around the Quantocks? I know there's been a lot of flooding in Somerset.
Has anyone been out in the last few days and if so how are conditions now? And as the previous post asks, are the roads clear? I'm wondering whether to go there tomorrow...
