Depends what you want them to do. Best meaning what? Light weight? Efficiency? Appearance? Cost per kW?

Many of the big solar fitters (Solar Century spring to mind) use Yingli.

Bit of a far reaching question that. Bit like saying what bike is best a Trek or a Specialized - they both make lots of different bikes.

A lot depends on the specific panels that you are looking at when trying to calculate cost V output/efficiency. Also depends on how big a system you want, the size of the panels, and what you can get on a roof (assuming that's where you want them).

The solar panel/bike analogy is pretty good. There are lots of well known brands, lots of less known brands, and a fair amount of this Far East "unbranded" panel is made in the same factory as the [insert well known manufacturer here].

Our company (I don't work in our solar team so not an expert) provides Schuco and Kyocera polycrystalline panels.
