Thinking of giving the old girl a makeover during the winter. I'll check everything when I've stripped it down but wondered if these are any better than the originals?
Got a new kashima rp23 to get tuned and fit also.
There was a thread on here not so long ago about them. Seemed to get a universal thumbs up.
What I couldn't work out was, you got the top hat bush (journal bearing??) but do you get the metal pivot bit
I think I'm asking is it a full rebuild kit, or just the top hats??
Just the top hats, but if the rest of your pivot hardware is in good condition ( you didn't leaving it too long before deciding to change them!) that's all you need.
Notice a definite improvement over originals in small bump response. Actually had to change the damping levels on my RP23 to take that into account.
Well worth the money in my opinion.
Interesting to hear that the small bump response is better and the damping needs tweaking.
