Sounds painful - you should probably get that looked at!

The orange in real life is stunning!

I thought a purple prince albert may raise a few s****s.

The orange ones I see alwasy look a little dull after a while. I actually do like the purple alpine as well.

My mate has a purple one (oh dear) and the finish is really good and the paint is really sparkly!

I was looking at a purple alpine on sunday at a demo day. The finish is bloody lovely.

I think I'm definitely going to order the PA in purple.

Photos don't really do the pearl purple powder coat justice. Most people like it when the see it in the flesh.

But I don't think I'll be doing any more purple frames after this batch of Alpines and Prince Alberts are all gone.

no, the seat doesn't have to be that low, but it helps on the downs...

also purple.

You're right, the Orange can easily look a little dull, but some Autogylm and it's sparkling again. My mates 4 year old PA 835 ahs just had the same treatment and looks new again.

I'd probably go for the purple one if i gad the choice again!! Lots of orange bikes out there, not many purple ones.

Go for it, what ever colour they're fantastic bikes.

I'm still waiting for a Ti PA - come on Mike.

richc, mine is a 17/23 and I'm a gnats chuff under 6' 1" but prefer to thave the seat at proper jey height for regular riding.

Scruff is only an ickle bit shorter than me but rides big boned XC / Freeride Litecore so has his saddle a bit lower.

Always go for stealth ninja colours......

....then negate that by getting blingy wheels 😉

Purple is nice but has dulled (probably due to wiping it with gritty water)
